Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a combination of physical and emotional symptoms that women experience about a week or two before their period.

Acupuncture and herbs are a fantastic way to address PMS symptoms by getting to the root of the issue and getting the body back in balance. PMS is terrible for the people experiencing it of course, but it can also be hard for the people around them since they get to experience some of the symptoms too.

The symptoms of PMS can range from mild to severe depending on the person.  The symptoms usually go away after the period starts.

Common physical symptoms:

Bloating, cramping, swollen or tender breasts, diarrhea, constipation, gassy, clumsiness, headaches, lower tolerance to noise, low libido, appetite changes or food cravings

Common emotional symptoms:

Fatigue, irritability, sleep issues, poor concentration, poor memory, anxiety, stress, mood swings, sadness, depression, or feeling weepy.

PMS is usually treatable with TCM, so stop suffering!
