In addition to the dietary aspects we work on for restoring the gut, we offer a 3 step gut restoration program to help get your gut and microbiota back in shape and functioning properly. This is a great option for getting some much needed gut support while working to make the gut stronger and more diverse.
We also work to incorporate more diversity into the diet, which helps to support the microbes that live there. Every food you eat is food for a different microbe so we want to expand your diet, not reduce it. Let’s love our guts more and they will love us back with more short chain fatty acids (SCFA), like butyrate, propionate, and acetate. These SCFA are vital to a healthy body.
This program is typically done over a 3 to 4 month time period. Sometimes additional herbal or fiber support is needed as dietary changes are made, but this is the general supplement program.
The gut program is done in conjunction with either the AAT treatments or Acupuncture treatments.
